To round off the summer we are screening the popular 1986 box office smash hit Top Gun starring Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, Anthony Edwards and Val Kilmer.

Tom Cruise is Pete Mitchell, code name Maverick, a daredevil pilot enrolled in the US Navy Fighter School. The elite course is known as “Top Gun” and Pete Mitchell must compete with the best of the best. Will he be able to suppress his wild nature to win the prestigious Top Gun Trophy?

The film screening will take place near the pavilion in the Alan Evans Memorial Field with tickets on sale from 7:00pm at the gate. The screening starts at 8:00pm prompt.

There will not be any catering on site so please bring your own picnics and something warm to sit on – and under!

At the time of writing, Friday morning, the weather for tomorrow looks set to be dry and settled. If the weather looks like it’s going to take a turn for the worse and you are worried that the event might be cancelled, then just come back to this website for further guidance.
